MEET OUR FOUNDERS

JAZMIN - CLINICAL RESEARCHER
"For years, I struggled with traction alopecia and the pressure to live up to beauty standards that didn’t reflect me. I hid behind relaxers, wigs, and braids—losing not just my edges, but my confidence.
In 2016, I decided to cut all my hair off. It wasn’t just a haircut—it was a declaration. I wanted to detach my identity from my hair and start over.
That journey led me to rediscover my natural texture, learn what my hair truly needed, and fall in love with caring for it again. One ritual that made a huge difference for me? Hot oil treatments. They inspired the creation of our strengthening treatment oil, designed to restore, nourish, and empower.
Now, I’m building a brand that helps others do the same—to see their hair as a beautiful accessory, no matter the stage, type, or texture. Because true confidence starts with care—from the inside out"

TATENDA - CLINICAL SCIENTIST
"In 2019, after the birth of my son, I experienced something I never expected—postpartum hair loss. Despite doing everything “right”—taking vitamins, keeping low-manipulation hairstyles, and staying mindful of my health—my hair began to shed in ways that felt completely out of my control.
I later learned that up to 90% of women face postpartum hair loss. Still, the emotional weight of seeing my hair thin was heavy.
It felt like I was losing a part of myself at a time when so much else was already changing.
Becoming a new mother is beautiful blessing, but it’s also challenging. The exhaustion, the identity shifts, the emotional highs and lows—all of it can leave you feeling stretched thin. For me, hair loss was just another reminder that I wasn’t the same, and I wasn’t sure if I’d ever feel like “me” again.
But instead of feeling defeated, I chose to rebuild—not just my hair, but my understanding of wellness, patience, and care.
In 2020, I began formulating and using what would become our Hair Growth Oil—a rich, natural blend designed to restore strength, stimulate growth, and revive thinning strands. Though life placed the project on pause, the core principles never faded.”
